Erik Mulder constructs robust ‘campers’ using only the very best materials. He opts for quality on all fronts. That is why he relies on TFD for his floors.
These expedition trucks are built, for example, to drive through the Atlas mountains in Africa or the hinterland of Iceland. Even though you are isolated from the civilised world, in inhospitable surroundings, you will still have a sense of comfort: with solar panels on the roof and a large on-board water tank, so you can have a shower in the middle of the desert or quickly wash your clothes.
TFD’s Woven L+ 404 floor was selected because of it high quality, ease of maintenance and comfort. “And it is something different from the regular wooden designs selected by our competitors.” Says Erik Mulder, who talks about expedition trucks with great passion and enthusiasm.
This Woven collection features woven PVC yarns and creates a warm atmosphere in your interior. The woven technique offers the luxury feel of a carpet, while providing all the advantages of a PVC floor. It is the only woven floor with an EPT™ top layer treatment that offers (antibacterial) protection. The floor is thus ideal for intensive use and offers a long life-span. The surface of the floor feels soft, absorbs noise, is easy to clean, and is protected against discolouration. In addition, the reliable EPT™ core structure adds to the stability of the Woven.
The designs feature coordinated natural shades of colours, which means they are easy to combine. This offers creative possibilities for mixing and matching, and for creating unique designs. The appearance of the floor changes with the incidence of light, and helps to create a playful effect.
